Nominations Sought for the 2027 Upper Dublin Medals Program
The Upper Dublin Medals Planning Committee is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 43rd annual Upper Dublin Medals Program, which recognizes outstanding Upper Dublin community members. Due no later than Monday, March 5, 2027 at 9am, nominations are sought in the following categories:

Citizen
-
Educator
-
Community Business or Nonprofit Organization
To submit a nomination, please fill out the UD Medals Nomination Form. To be considered, candidates must meet the designated criteria. To help our selection committees make well-informed decisions, please provide thorough and detailed submissions outlining the nominee’s achievements, contributions, and qualifications. Submissions will be reviewed for completeness prior to committee review and vote. The right is reserved to solicit supplementary information from the nominator(s) as deemed necessary to allow for consistent evaluation and consideration.
Beginning with nominations submitted in 2026, those in the Citizen and Business/Nonprofit categories will be retained for two years (the year of submission plus one additional year). Nominations submitted in 2026 in these categories will therefore also be considered in 2027. Educator nominations do not carry over and must be resubmitted each year.

Each selection committee is made up of individuals from various community groups who review all nominations and meet collectively to select the recipient in their category. Recipients will be announced in April and celebrated at an event on Wednesday, May 19, 2027.
The Upper Dublin Medals Program is presented by Upper Dublin Township, Upper Dublin School District and the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, which benefits from event proceeds. Nomination Process​​​​​​​​​
Nominations for the program are submitted by the community to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations in our community. To ensure our selection committees can make well-informed decisions, all nominations should be thorough, well-documented, and thoughtfully prepared. Strong submissions should highlight the nominee’s achievements, contributions, and qualifications in detail, as selections will be based solely on the information provided.
Nominations submitted in the Citizen and Business/Nonprofit categories in 2026 will be retained for two years (the year of submission plus one additional year). Nominators will be contacted to provide updates as needed. Nominations in the Educator category will not carry over and must be resubmitted each year.
Additionally, previous Upper Dublin Medals winners cannot be honored again in the same category.
