The Greenfield Youth Film Festival is a forum for young film enthusiasts from across the region to learn specific industry skills and showcase their creativity in the form of short video productions. Since 2008, this unique program, funded by a private grant from the Greenfield Foundation, provides a platform for student expression, giving a voice to important issues and creativity.
The program kicks off with a full day workshop for students from more than 20 regional high schools taught by industry professionals and college professors specializing in various elements of filmmaking. Aspiring young filmmakers from each school are mentored by their teachers as they create their own films to be submitted into the festival. The program culminates in an Academy Awards-style event showcasing those films.
Mark your calendars for this year's Greenfield Youth Film Festival taking place at the Upper Dublin Performing Arts Center on April 24, 2023 at 7pm.
